Inside 'Olde Haat Records' - Independent Record Label

'Olde Haat Records', conceived and developed by CEO Marky Arnold, is a grass roots record label. Arnold is building the 'Olde Haat Records' label from the ground up, promoting, selling and publicizing all of the label's releases.

'Olde Haat Records' is an intimate company with a tightly knit staff that developed out of friendship and a love of music. Arnold oversees all aspects of the label - A&R scouting, calling radio stations about airplay, working with a distributor, checking with the music retailers, coordinating the publicity efforts, as well as dealing directly with artists and bands helping them find gigs and put tours together.

On any given night, you can find Arnold frequenting any number of establishments, meeting bands and hoping to find the hot new runaway hit makers, but not in the usual fashion. Arnold says, "I've been a musician my whole life, been signed to major record labels but I never found that satisfying. I'm looking for other musicians who have the drive, desire and creative vision to suceed in this new music industry, and I want to allow them the creative freedom to be great. Olde Haat Records is a place musicians come when they want to make great music and recapture the essence of their souls."
